Chapter Five

Adam knocked on Sarah’s door and ran fingers through his hair. Today had been fucking intense. His dick had never been so fucking hard, with no chance of getting any reprieve. During his career he’d fucked many women, and even done the whole sex thing on set. Never had he been into a scene like he was today. At the last minute he’d had to stop himself from pulling her panties out of the way and fucking her.

She opened the door, and she wore a robe. “Hey,” she said.

“What’s wrong?”

“Nothing. I’m just feeling a little out of it.”

He closed the door and watched her. She’d been in either the shower or bath as her hair was wet. Her legs were bare beneath the robe. Before coming to her hotel room, he’d been thinking of the ways he could tell her he wanted to do more than act with her.

“There’s something I want to tell you,” he said.

“What is it? Was it about today? Was I horrible?” She winced and cringed, and he hated it.

“No, it wasn’t about today. There’s something I want to tell you, and you can kick me out.”

“You’re making me nervous.”

“I want you.” There, he’d said it.

“What?”

He’d never been one to talk about his feelings, and right now he was finding it difficult to tell her what he actually wanted to say. “Today, it was hard for me.”

She groaned. “It was my fault, wasn’t it? I was really bad, and you hated acting with me. I knew I should have called Dean and told him we weren’t good together for this movie. I’m really sorry.”

Unable to find the words, he placed his hand on her waist and pulled her in close. His cock pressed against her. “This is what I’m trying to say.”

She looked down between them. “What?”

“I want you, Sarah. I’ve wanted you from the moment I first saw you.”

“The audition?”

“Yes, the audition, and every other moment between. I want you, Sarah.”

“You keep saying want, but I don’t know exactly—”

“I want to fuck you. When we’re apart, it’s all I think about.”

“Okay, I’m kind of confused. Men always want to have sex, right?”

“No. Not all the time. I want to be with you, and it’s not because of the movie or anything else. When I’m with you, there’s a connection. I’ve never had a connection like we do.” He took hold of her hand.

“I’m a virgin.”

“I know, and I don’t care. I’m happy to take our time. I don’t want to rush you into anything. I thought it would be best to get my own feelings out for you to know.” He tugged her close, and pressed a kiss to her lips. “I’m going to leave you alone now and let you think about what I’ve said.”

He moved away, heading toward the door.

“Adam?”

“Yeah.” He glanced over at her.

“This is what you want?” She unwrapped her robe, and flashed her body at him. The flash was fleeting, but he saw enough of it to make him want more.
